This digital sign stands as a symbol of collaboration, awareness, and community safety located along the Voght St corridor where many regularly travel. Made possible through a partnership between our society, the City of Merritt and our generous funder, Union of Safety and Justice Employees, this sign was created to provide a reliable space for sharing important public information, community events, and safety messaging, for residents and visitors to our community.

Originally envisioned as a way to strengthen communication across Merritt and the Nicola Valley, the digital sign reflects a shared commitment to keeping our community informed, engaged, and connected.

This project began in 2024 and would not have been possible without many who have contributed their efforts. Together, we created more than just a sign, we built a lasting resource designed to support and strengthen our community for years to come.

Bike Safety & Security

Biking is becoming a larger part of the lives of many of us in the Nicola Valley.  Along with the safety aspects we need to remember when we are out there, there are also concerns about protecting your ride.
